Implementation of Virtual Class Room & E-Library as ICT Support for e- education:
Rewa being located in a remote place is deprived of consistent high speed internet connectivity. Efforts are being made to provide students with state of the art knowledge by making them available Video lecture from NPTEL & From Eminent Professors of Universities like MIT, Stanford, Harward, UCBerkley etc. offline in a virtual class room.
Also web resources are being compiled by the student as part of their project to prepare e-study material from web for off line browsing based on their curriculumn. This will include web resource like PPTs, pdfs, tutorials, Sample Projects, MCQs,, Qbank etc. & will be part of Elibrary available to them round the clock for access

IT, M.Sc. BI) course. Students are exposed to work in all the three popular environment i.e. DOS, WINDOWS and Linux. Further, substantial improvement in the Interdisciplinary research & development computing facilities in the Dept. of Computer Science is possible under BIF, from DBT, New Delhi, which is used to popularise computational Biology research witin the Campus. Prof Rakesh Katare, Head of the Department is world class researcher in the fieldof Parallel computing .
