So far two students and one faculty member have qualified in National eligibility test conducted by UGC New Delhi. Two students have been selected for State civil services and two have been employed as lecturer.

The department runs M.Phil. , Ph.D. programmes. So far about 12 students have been awarded Ph.D. Degree and about 10 students are working at present as full time registered research scholars.
