The Department of English was established in 1989 with a purpose to impart quality teaching in the area of English literary studies, communication skills and translation studies. The department has bagged a number of UGC projects. Many national seminars have been organized by the Department. The Department brings out its journal 'Zenith'. The alumuni of the Department have adorned a number of prestigious places.
